Bangalore, we´re here!
Some of our 8 team members have been traveling for 2 days to get here, so my 12 hour journey is only modest. On my transfer in Frankfurt I joined up with my team members Julie and Matt from Canada.
Team and Goal
Our team of 8 is split up into 4 subgroups of 2 and each subgroup is assigned to a different client. Matt and I form a subgroup together (M&M´s) and our client is a nonprofit organization providing education to underprivileged children. The goal of our assignment is to develop a marketing strategy focused on fundraising and communication for the US and European markets. We used the time on the flight to exchange some ideas, thoughts and insights and do some more reading on fundraising strategies, education in India and other client materials.
Introduction to India
It happens to be that our client organizes an annual day, which is today on April 9th! On this day they invite all the parents to come to school and they arranged the children to perform a play. Our whole team is invited and we´re all looking forward to this great introduction to the country.
